Take a rectangular baking dish and tip the cheesy pasta into the dish.Taste you sauce and season with some more pepper and salt if you wish. Finally add HALF (100g) of the grated cheddar to the sauce – we will save the rest for the topping – and stir it in.Stir well until the cream cheese has melted into the sauce. You can easily omit it if you don’t have any in your store cupboard though. I also add a grating of nutmeg (approx 1/4 tsp) as I love the flavour and it gives this dish a lovely lift.
